Tv Series Production
Graphic, Motion & UI design
I’ve been working on the production of props for various assets (prints, motion graphics, and scenography) for Québécoise television. At that time the workload was heavy and the deadlines were very tight, so I can’t recall which project was which. Anyway, we had great fun producing all these.
(Below, a short snippet from the intro of Red Band Society)
Here’s the packaging of a chocolate tablet that was meant for a hero shot.
We developed this one to look just like the real thing, since hero shots are in the foreground and therefore require the same level of detail as the actual object.
The next images, on the other hand, were so gross that I was actually told not to look at the reference material, which was a spine surgery video on YouTube. But since I felt brave at the time, I decided to watch it anyway; spoiler: I deeply regretted it.
Basically, we needed to recreate some X-rays for a scene in which a surgeon was performing spine surgery while looking at a fluoroscope (aka the X-ray terminal). So we came up with this set of images. Since there are a lot of episodes, it’s quite difficult to find the exact scene where all this happens; therefore, I recreated a similar shot for context.
A few scenes from Les Bombes (a pilot show) required us to produce many UI assets for different websites and applications. Here are a few of them, which were later animated.
Additional UI props were created for fictional apps and social platforms used in the series.
And here’s a set of graphics we developed for different college scenes, many of which promote community services.
